Locally Owned Pool Service Company Turns 25 Years Old
Originally formed in July of 1988, Windermere Pool Services was started with a vision of providing reliable and superior quality pool cleaning, maintenance and repairs to their customers. A vision they’ve upheld for over 25 years.
Windermere Pool Services’ first location was situated directly on Main Street in the heart of downtown Windermere. At that time, the population of Windermere was approximately 1,600 people (yes, one thousand six hundred!). Back then, the West Orange area was very different from what it is today. Orange groves were everywhere and there were few subdivisions. Windermere had its own airport on Maguire Road until 1994 when it was closed to be replaced by a Publix Supermarket. The growth in West Orange County has been tremendous.
Those many years ago Windermere Pool Services ran a retail pool cleaning supplies storefront in addition to their regular cleaning routes. This changed in 2005 when they decided to focus their efforts solely on the service, maintenance and repair side of their business. Being in the retail pool industry gave them unique insight on their customers’ needs. Windermere Pool Services found that many other pool service companies didn’t show up on time or even the right day. Those other company’s quality of work left pool owners scrambling to “spruce up” the pool in between their service rounds. Windermere Pool Services knew that they could do better.
Expertise in their trade combined with the natural growth in the area allowed Windermere Pool Services to quickly become the premier swimming pool service, maintenance and repair company they are today. Known for superior service, well-trained service technicians, exacting repairs and recognized by their company vehicles — neighborhoods confidently referred Windermere Pool Services — and they have grown from there.
